Knife 257 Backwoods Camp & Hunting Knife
Customize your next adventure with this beautiful knife! Number 257, Backwoods Camp and Hunting knife features a 5" blade which was hand-forged from a vintage tool steel cold chisel. The convex ground blade has a nice upswept curve and a distal taper.
The guard is my signature sheephorn and the spacer is sambar stag with red, white, blue and brass spacers. The middle section is beautiful redwood burl, and the end of the handle is moose antler tine.
The Frontier sheath features 12oz Hermann Oak leather. The front is hand-tooled hawk feather. Just like my other Frontier sheaths, it has a custom-fit Kydex lining to hold this knife securely in place. Kangaroo lacing is the best you can get. Copper rivet fastened belt loop is rock-solid.
A beautiful one-of-a-kind knife and sheath set, that is entirely handmade by me, in my shop.
