Knife 237 San Mai Skinner
This beautiful skinning knife features a hand-forged san mai blade (layered steel with a hard inner core), featuring a Hitachi blue steel core. Blade has the rustic satin finish and has been acid etched to show the soft outer layers contrasted against the harder inner core. It is a razor sharp 3-3/4" in length.
The handle is Masur birchwood burl and shaped for a super-comfortable grip. The guard is mand-mortised dahl sheep horn with a blue, white and brass spacer stack.
The sheath is made from 11oz Herman Oaks tooling leather and features a hand-tooled and hand-dyed hawk feather on the front. Copper rivet and tough kangaroo lacing construction. Kydex liner for extra protection and retention.
This knife and sheath combo would make a great companion for your next hunting trip.
