CASE 6347PE Stockman Knife
This is a CASE 6347PE vintage pocket knife. The stamp on the main blade dates it to 1965-1969. It is a stockman model with rounded nickel silver bolsters and liners. Beautifully jigged red bone handles are in pristine condition.
This model number refers to the materials and configuration. "6" being bone handles, "3" being the number of blades and "47" being the pattern. Blades consist of the main clip, spey and pen. The main clip blade has the case XX stamp on one side and the model number on the other. The PE on the end of the blade stamp refers to the third blade being a "pen" blade. Case would sometimes signify the blade in this manner. This is a pretty rare configuration, as most stockmans had a sheepsfoot blade as the third blade.
There are a few slight rubmarks on the blades from opening/closing. Pretty normal for vintage multi-blade pocket knives. Knife is in original unsharpened condition and would be graded between excellent and near mint.
This beautiful and rare pocket knife is pretty hard to find in this condition. Over 50 years old and would make a great addition to your collection.
