Final sanding & polishing Knife 267, Backwoods Hunter.
This knife will feature a 4.5" blade, hand-forged from
11/16" 01 tool steel round stock. The handle is made from stag & arctic masur burl, and will have a Frontier Kydex-lined sheath.

Frontier Sheaths
My Frontier sheaths combine a hand-tooled leather outer sheath with a removeable inner Kydex lining, giving you the retro look of a hand-tooled sheath with the added protection and secure fit of Kydex. Each one is unique. My latest knives will be offered with this option. I can also make a custom sheath for your favorite knife.

Growing up in New England, I have always enjoyed the diversity and beauty of the seasons.
I believe this to be a strong contributor to my creativity.
Bringing something handmade to life – whether it be forging a handmade knife, painting or drawing, creating a piece of jewelry or writing my next novel – each bears its own creative rewards.
As a part-time knife maker, I forge roughly 10 knives each year. This affords me the oppotunity to do each and every step myself. It also allows me to take on other creative projects and enjoy hunting, fishing, kayaking and spending time with friends and family. I have no staff and do not outsource anything. I approach each project as if it was my best and last. Seeing smiles on my customer's faces is the icing on the cake. If you'd like to get on my project schedule, feel free to reach out to me.
